Description
CARREFOUR PATHOLOGIE 2026, organized by the French Society of Pathology (SFP) will take place again at CNIT Forest, Paris la Défense from November 18 to 20, 2026.
For the past three years, the French-speaking anatomo-pathological community has made its mark in this wonderful, renovated, functional, and modern venue, where our national pathology conference is taking place under the best possible conditions.
We will be very happy to welcome you again this year, with our new head of the scientific program: Professor Janick SELVES. For her debut, she has concocted a very high-level, diversified and attractive program.
This congress remains a unique moment of meetings, exchanges, teaching and dissemination of knowledge between professionals in anatomy and cytology. It will take place in person, but the sessions will be available at the end, for those registered, as podcasts on the SFP website.
The scientific program will, as usual, be rich, varied, and of a high scientific level:
- The three histoseminars will focus on the reactive ganglion, new developments in non-tumor gastroesophageal pathology, and the tumor kidney.
- The SFP conferences will be presented by French- and English-speaking pathologists and will focus on the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for diagnosis in pathology, the forensic expert in anatomy and cytology, and the new WHO classification in gynaecopathology.
- Symposiums will address the themes of pancreatic cytology and biliary pathways, eco-responsibility/ecodesign of care with a Canadian experience, as well as the new labelling of networks.
- The interactive session will focus on biopsies in ENT pathology.
- The new "Controversy" session will debate remote work in anapath.
- The sessions of the French Society for Clinical Cytology (SFCC) will address AI in urinary cytology with a symposium on pulmonary cytology.
- The AFAQAP session will focus on medical error for pathologists.
- The INSERM conferences will address the themes of organoids and xenografts.
- The "Flash" sessions will deal with the pathologist and liquid biopsies as well as the new WHO classification of brain tumors.
- The medico-technical mornings will address the themes of the technician and digital pathology, as well as training and qualifications for technicians in PCA.
- Finally, the AIP day on Friday will be devoted to neuroendocrine tumors.
The scientific works that will be submitted will be presented in the form of oral communications or ePosters: the best communications will be rewarded during the congress by the award ceremony at the SFP General Assembly.
During these 3 days, the SFP will be pleased to invite all delegates to have lunch on site at the BAOBAB area, with eco-friendly buffets, to increase the time for exchanges and make the most of the lunchtime symposiums and exhibition stands.
The great moment of conviviality on Thursday evening, the PATHOLOGY PARTY, will be repeated again: warm up and review a few steps for the demonstrations on the dance floor!
With 1,521 participants, a record attendance fell last year at CARREFOUR PATHOLOGIE 2025. Let’s make sure to beat this record again in 2026!
